The New Year has come, and I can’t say that I’m really sad to see 2018 go. My mother taught me at a very young age that you shouldn’t wish your life away. As much you might wish that this week were over and the next one could start, you’re never going to get the week you’re currently living back. The same goes with years.
2018 was a rough one, from being in a very…negative environment, to unexpected knee surgery, a few health setbacks, and losing a publisher, it’s been a bumpy ride from basically the beginning. Every time I was sure things were going to get better, something else came up to bite me in the butt.
There were some great things, of course. I got to visit some amazing places on tour.
I was lucky enough to spend two weeks in Greece and Italy.
I got to head back to Alaska for a stint, and now I’m spending the winter working at one of my favorite theatres.
If the world doesn’t poop on my plans, 2019 should be a really great year. (Knock on wood, tututu, cross your fingers.)
I’m jumping into Indie Publishing with both feet and rereleasing Girl of Glass myself in February. I have the new cover file, and I am so excited to share with all of you! My goal is to have all four books in the series out by the end of the year.
Book two in the Bryant Adams and Maggie Trent series are both due out. I’m working on book three in the Bryant Adams series and have some great free stories up my sleeve for my newsletter followers.
I have no idea where I’ll be performing by the end of 2019, but I’m going into the New Year with my hopes high and my arms wide open to adventure.
I hope the New Year brings you love, health, and success. And if things don’t go that way, we’ll just keep truckin’ along.
