First of all, I want to apologize for the late post. This will not happen again. All Monday posts are put up at 8:05 AM ET. Sorry again for the delay.

I once had a boss. I won’t say where. But he liked porn. I always hated going into his office because every time you walked in he would grab papers off of his printer, and since there was a window behind him you could see the leather clad women with the sun shining through the paper. I mean really: who prints porn off on their work computer?

One day men in suits showed up and took my boss away. Apparently he also liked “kiddy” porn. They took him away, but since all of our computers were linked, they took everyone of our office computers, too. That meant that we had no way of tracking who had actually paid their rent.

The first few days people were still turning in their rent, but soon word spread. “Don’t bother paying. The office won’t know the difference.” Since it happened at the beginning of the semester, and some people paid by the semester, half the apartment complex got a whole semester of free rent all thanks to one sicko and the FBI. Crime never pays, except in free rent.

Liked the brevity as well as your athoratative style. But, I was lost after “The first few days people were still turning in their rent”,
I could have used a little more background. Most readers don’t know who or what the “Boss” is the boss of. Student housing is my guess.???

Sometimes the things that happen in real life are stranger than fiction. Sick people out there. Be safe!
